We will also be talking about how both new generation consoles offer the best value for 4K gaming as well as the latest on the PS5 and the Hololive scandal. Lastly we will be digging into our topic about politics in gaming.
Shadowrun Dragonfall - Director's Cut
A game that he shied away from before but during a recent stream he really loved the relaxing nature of the game despite it being very difficult. Definitely a game to try if you have been putting it off and are in the mood for something less stressful. Saving is your friend.
Adam talks about arguably one of the most famous series in gaming and its recent remake. He talks about the changes and what is good and bad. Definitely something not to miss.
Consoles offer better value (Crian’s News)
Crian dives into the costs of building a modern 4K gaming PC compared to purchasing one of the new consoles. The main problem being that while the cost of a 4K capable graphics card has come down, the costs of 4k monitors have not. For a low end monitor you are still looking at 500+ USD which is not factoring in the rest of the computer.
Hololive and the PS5 (Adam’s News)
Adam dives deep into some datamined PS5 features and what they mean for his favorite console. He also talks about the Japanese company Hololive and the recent scandal that has been in the news here in Asia. This also directly connects to our topic so keep this news item in mind.
Crian’s Topic
Crian takes on today’s topic from the perspective of political leanings in games and how most games definitely lean to the left. Being a liberal himself, he doesn’t mind this and definitely argues that more philosophies should be included in games. He talks about Gone Home. Spoilers!
Adam’s Topic
Adam talks about his thoughts in politics and whether they belong in games and if it is even possible to take them out. He goes over some relevant examples that have occurred in the last few years and his thoughts on them.
