Bio
Dr. Amy Hanson received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Drake University (Des Moines, IA). She completed a PGY1 at Mercy Hospital (Chicago, IL), a PGY2 Infectious Disease Residency at Rush University Medical Center (RUMC) in Chicago, IL, and stayed on as the Infectious Disease Pharmacist at RUMC for 6 years. Amy transitioned to work as a Project Administrator in Antimicrobial Stewardship at the Chicago Department of Pubic Health in 2018, developing several antimicrobial stewardship educational campaigns and collaboratives for outpatient and long-term care healthcare settings. Currently, since July 2021, Amy is a Medical Science Liaison at IDbyDNA, a precision metagenomics diagnostic company.
