We recently sat down with buzzing Baton Rouge artist FL Dusa for an exclusive “Off The Porch” interview! During our conversation he announced an upcoming collab project with Kevin Gates, coming home from prison last year, coming from the Southside of Baton Rouge, the violence getting worse, seeing his first dead body when he was 12 years old, jumping off the porch, how it feels to make it out of his environment, graduating from high school, getting locked up when he was 18 years old, where he was at mentally during his stay in prison, writing & rapping while locked up, having a buzz but not taking music serious before he went in, advises artists not to have one foot in the streets while pursuing music, recording “First Day Out” when he came home, knowing Kevin Gates since he was 6 years old, signing to Gates last year, touring the country with Gates, being nervous before the first show, the chemistry when him & Gates are in the studio, his upcoming project ‘Money Made Problems’, upcoming single with Fredo Bang, their close relationship, goals he has set for himself, shares advice for the youth, artists he would like to work with, and much more!
