One of the fundamental experiences of existence is our own agency, our ability to make choices, to have free will.

But there are arguments that claim that Free will doesn't exist, and that everything we think we choose was only an illusion on top of a pre-determined outcome based on physics and circumstance.

What's worse than that, were it true, is what that means for society, humanity and ethics.
