While the movie was okay, the only thing working against it is that it is being dubbed as a prequel to the original Gene Wilder film. Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory will probably go down as one of the best movies of all time, so to come out with this, and mess so many things up with regards to the friends Wonka gains in this movie, and Slugworth being a rival chocolate company, and not to mention not an old white dude, even though he was by far the best bad guy in the movie.
