Episode 280: Joe Torrillo - Former New York City Firefighter & September 11th, 2001 World Trade Center Survivor

On this episode, Derek sits with Joe Torrillo.  Joe is a former Lieutenant in the New City Fire Department.  I asked him to come on the show as part of my “Derek Duvall Show 9/11 Outreach Program” as Joe is a survivor of the World Trade Center Disaster.  Joe will be talking about how he grew up in New York City, joining the Fire Department, the events leading up to 9/11 and then we discuss what happened on that fateful day including the collapse of the South Tower which led to him being buried alive with severe injuries.  Joe will discuss his incredible rescue and recuperation and how he now makes a living as a motivational speaker, traveling around the world telling his incredible story of survival.
