Streaming services are the new hotness. AT&T CEO John Stankey announced at a conference that HBO Max subscriptions rose from 8.6 million at the end of Q3 to 12.6 million as of early December while NBCUniversal CEO Jeff Shell said Peacock passed 26 million signups as of Monday up 4 million since October.
