A conversation with Frederic Laloux, a former business coach and associate partner with McKinsey & Company, and author of Reinventing Organizations.
Frederic is passionate about enlightening organizations, and is hailed for his work in leading a “soulful revolution in the workplace” through his book, Reinventing Organizations. The book demonstrates that every time humanity has shifted to a new stage of consciousness in the past, it has invented new ways to structure and run organizations. The enlightened organization, he says, is collaborative, decentralized, and adaptive, with a “sense and respond” approach to problems, operating on trust rather than fear.
In this episode, Frederic delves deep into how a childhood experience formed the idea that it’s possible to create a safe space in coaching where deeper conversations become possible - the seed from which his bestselling book sprouted.
He also shares how one single three-hour coaching session inspired a radical, almost spiritual, internal change in him that led to him making a drastic career switch. Listen to the full episode for more.Podcast 2023 - Pamela Larde - Episode Summary Copy
