"When you're looking for opportunities, you've got to be looking for problems."

In 2015, I decided I wanted to get into real estate investing. I read Rich Dad Poor Dad and listened to podcasts about other investors' stories. I went to a Rich Dad Poor Dad seminar, but realized I didn't have the money, time, or experience to get into real estate yet. I went back to my business. In 2019, my business took off and I had a couple hundred thousand dollars in the bank. My wife and I started buying properties with 25% down and getting mediocre returns. In 2020, I started watching videos by Kris Krohn and realized I wanted to be mentored by him. I bought his real estate course and his Mastermind. I learned from him that having a track record is key to getting into deals without using any of your own money.
