Recovery from an eating disorder is certainly not a linear path, nor is there one way to tackle recovery. Each person’s journey of recovery is as individual as their eating disorder. We wanted to offer a space for three different Mom’s with various backgrounds and recovery journeys to share their story and honestly discuss how becoming a Mom added another layer to their recovery process. We are grateful for their vulnerability, their strength, and their courage as they navigate busting diet myths, letting go of body image ideals, coping with their feelings without using food, and showing up to their recovery day in and day out!
In Part 3 we welcome a Mama of one who has jumped through many hurdles in her recovery journey and, through these hurdles, has found true peace. She shares her history of body image challenges based on her family legacy and how she found healing and is now fully recovered Mom of one!
