1. A former Cleveland Guardians power hitter is taking over as a manager in Chicago. No, not Jim Thome, it's Richie Sexson. He is taking over for the Windy City Thunderbolts. We talk about the Thome rumors. We talk a little Sexson then take some time to appreciate Hank Peters. While Sexson was a John Hart selection it was during the Peters era that the majority of the great 90s team was built. We get a little nostalgic and talk about some of the other trades from that era. 
2. Next, we spend time on the Gold Glove finalists. The Guardians have five of them and should end up with a few winners. We get into some of the statements that were made today that were just odd. We talk about who should win and why. If you missed the announcement the following players were named as finalists Andres Gimenez, Jose Ramirez, Shane Bieber, Steven Kwan, and Myles Straw.
3. Last we talked about the catching position, and why it is going to be a much harder position in a year. There are a pair of rules that will lead to more stress on defense at the position. We focus on what the Guardians have, and why it still makes a lot of sense for them to pursue Sean Murphy this offseason. We get into what makes Sean Murphy so special and why we still think he could be a massive improvement. We also get into how they might be able to utilize Sean Murphy and Bo Naylor at the same time by using a player who is currently tearing up the Arizona Fall League.
