On April 21st, 2019, Los Angeles Football Club (7-1-1)won its first match up of the season against the Seattle Sounders. The black and gold rebounded from a listless midweek 1-0 loss to Marc Dos Santos' Whitecaps and took down the previously undefeated Seattle Sounders 4-1 on Easter Sunday.
With seven wins in nine attempts and 22 points in hand, LAFC continue to ride one of the best starts Major League Soccer history. Seattle (5-1-1) are still undefeated at home; the team will welcome the San Jose Earthquakes tomorrow (4/24) before LAFC travel to Century Link Field on Sunday(4/28) for LAFC v Sounders round two.
