1. The Cleveland Guardians lost two pitchers in the Rule 5 draft, RHP Nic Enright to the Miami Marlins and RHP Kevin Kelly to the Colorado Rockies, who got traded to the Tampa Bay Rays, which is no surprise. We talk about why these losses were not a surprise overall and why they should stick with their teams.
2. Cleveland also lost another pitcher in the minor league portion of the Rule 5 draft, LHP Eli Lingos to the Colorado Rockies. We briefly touch on Lingos' pick there and what that means for him. Cleveland selected three players in the minor league phase of the Rule 5 draft, RHP Bradley Hanner from the Twins, C Michael Berglund from Tampa Bay, and RHP Justin Lewis from Arizona. We discussed those additions for the Guardians as well.
3. Finally, we discuss the end of the winter meetings and why there were no trades during the week, but to be patient to see what happens now that some free agents have signed.
