I know that a large number of black people are loyal supporters of the Democratic Party and consistent haters of Donald Trump. But putting blue/red politics to the side for a second, I think we should reflect on the dangerous precedent being set when Twitter bans the president of the United States from their platform.
The reasons for banning Trump appear to be related to the fact that he is being accused of inciting the violence that took place on Capitol Hill. The odd thing, however, is that there were no twitter bans related to the violence that took place over the summer.
Also, censorship is a dangerous thing, as it is now allowing our technocrats to decide who deserves to have a voice and who does not. The will of the people is thrown to the wayside in favor of an odd type of elitist imperialism.
