S2 Ep. 11: An interview with Old Buck Gene, a friend forever.
This special episode is our first interview with anyone and for the inaugural interview, we're talking to old friend Gene, who has been bandied about in previous episodes. Gene was the guy who blew up his car far from home in the days before cell phones. Gene is the guy who roped Dave into the hardest and lowest paid work week of his life a few episodes ago.
Gene shares his remembrances of teachers past, working at the Twin Coaches Supper Club with Dave, and some of his experiences working in Asia.
Gene retired from a successful career in sales and now spends his time guessing the endings to murder mysteries and smoking smelly cigars. When he's not smoking, he's pumping iron at the local gym, showing the youngsters how it's done.
