Is there a difference between Sight Loss and Vision Loss?

Sight and vision are interchangeable words  that are used to talk about how well we can physically see what we are doing and where we are going.

Depending on the type of sight loss, we have varying degrees of control over what happens.

But I have learnt over the years that what we do have is complete control over what happens to our vision.
