Norman Tate – I Just Made the Olympic Team

Norman Tate has spent the past twelve years as an assistant track and field coach at Division III Rowan University. He has an extensive coaching resume and he was also a premier performer, competing in the 1968 Summer Olympics in Mexico City in the triple jump. 

In Episode #66 of “1-on-1 with Matt Leon,” Matt speaks with Tate over Zoom about his career in track. They talk about his love of coaching and what the 1968 Olympic experience was like.
