Ruby Gillman Teenage kraken, DreamWorks' newest installment falls short of their previous installments "Bad guys" and "Puss in boots 2: The last wish" the film seems to borrow some themes from Disney and Pixar's Turning red and Luca where the main character doesn't fit in minus her current friend group until she learns that she has superpowers whenever she goes into the ocean, and the mysteries of her life come into light, with an overbearing mother protecting her daughter from the truth and her own overbearing mother that is the reason these krakens moved to dry land in the first place. The movie is ok and is very pleasant to look at but for sure falls short when it comes to its actual plot being very cliché and tropey hopefully DreamWorks goes back to taking chances when it comes to their animation style and writing instead of being one step behind Pixar and Disney, Hollywood seriously needs to step up their animation game if the best animated movies of this year came from Sony and Illumination 5/10 Ryan "SUPERBAD" Sharp 5.8.1/10 Jay "BEAN" Martin LET US KNOW YOUR THOUGHTS IN THE COMMENTS AND DONT FORGET TO SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE VIDEOS #rubygillman #teenagekraken #moviereview #movies #podcast #breakdown #spoilers https://www.reddit.com/r/ComingThisSu... https://www.instagram.com/comingthiss...
