We really take our health for granted until something life-changing happens, and our health or the health of a loved one becomes at risk. But if we start now, looking at our body, where we are, how we feel, how we breathe, we can live better lives. We've been told diet, exercise, and a good night's sleep are all keys to a healthy life. But we've been missing a key piece of the trifecta, which is how we breathe. Being able to breathe is one of the most important functions we have. Airway dysfunction is one of the many things that are being overlooked in our kids. As a precursor for disease, ADHD, and behavioral problems, we have an epidemic of breathing disorders and CPAP machines being given to adults.

Now, it's important to bring awareness to patients to look for signs in our children as they grow up, so they don't become adults that need CPAP machines or are suffering from chronic disease issues due to problems related to airway and sleep-disordered breathing. Today we're going to talk about the importance of an airway-centric health assessment.
