About Amla: Amla Mehta is a speaker, teacher, and author who encourages all beings to live authentically by embodying self-love and speaking their truth. As a woman living with tunnel vision, she is an advocate and activist on behalf of all people living with disabilities, whether they have mobility, hearing, vision, cognitive, or other challenges.
Amla graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in Sociology. She has also developed her own intensive yoga and meditation practice, a discipline she draws on for writing, speaking, and inspiring others. She loves hugging trees and practicing meditation by the Farmington River, located in Connecticut.
Amla Mehta is the author of four books: Eye With a View (Memoir/Self-Help Book), The Ultimate Guide to Self-Healing, Volume 3 (a collaborative book), Success in Any Season (another collaborative book), and Amla Speaks 365 (an inner-reflective book full of insights and self-care practices).
