A weird old stage with a wonderful finish for 22-year-old Georg Steinhauser for his first ever win as a professional cyclist. A briilliant day in the saddle for him across the beautiful adn thankfuly passable surroundings of the Dolomites. What exactly were DSM and the rest of the peloton playing at in supressing every attempted breakaway? And as Tadej Pogacar seemingly effortlessly pulled away from the rest of the chasing pack, what was Geriant Thomas thinking?
