Many new podcasters have a problem with creating decent audio for their podcast. One easy ways to fix a problem before it gets worse is to Monitor your own microphone live in real time. I know not all setups can work with live monitoring with 0 latency. But if yours does, I would highly recommend that you listen back to your microphone live in real time. The reason is that you can catch any audio issues live as they happen so you can make adjustments at that point. Not at the very end and you heard that your microphone had a bad echo or something. Get the cleanest audio you can at the time of recording. This will save you time on editing in the end.
Today I'm joined by Christian Eulinberg from the podcast Film Optix. Along with his cohosts they like to discuss movies and TV shows. He has been podcasting for about 3 years and has had some trail and error like most of us have had. We talk about how to record, best software, and what seems to work out the best for your own podcast.
