Rachael Sarra’s art is having a moment.
You’ll see it on the side of buses, buildings, on the official team uniform of the firebirds, in the packaging of Lush cosmetics, on postage stamps and even at the entrance of more than a dozen KMART stores.
Her art tells the story of being a proud, modern, indigenous woman. But it’s her story of ‘becoming’ she shares with us today. Of figuring out her place as she straddled two worlds.
