Giro d'Italia STAGE 5 REVIEW - The Breakaway BEAT the Peloton!

Wow, wow, wow! Benjamin Thomas takes it for Cofidis! Their first win of the season and the Frenchman's first World Tour victory. A four man breakaway go all the way as the peloton dilly dallies and the bravest of riders take full advantage. There's a brilliant comeback story for second-placed Michael Valgren and what did you make of Andrea Pietrobon sitting on the wheels for a good hour or two? Tadej Pogacar still leads Geraint Thomas in the GC. We learn that he Slovenian's name is made of bread and also wonder what rail replacement bus we'd have for Britain's Giro Train.
