With a new animated Lord of the Rings film coming at the end of this year, we have word of a new film in the works with a creative team consisting of Peter Jackson, and Andy Serkis, both Lord of the Rings cinematic veterans. This new film titled "The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum"(what a mouthful) is set to release sometime in the year 2026.
