Kalen DeBoer's Return to Washington Wasn't Pretty
Alabama Crimson Tide head coach Kalen DeBoer made his first public comments in Seattle in a radio interview after spurning Seattle and the Washington Huskies for the SEC, Tuscaloosa, and the opportunity to replace Nick Saban and they didn't go well, as DeBoer appeared to provide non-answers for a lot of questions regarding his departure, which were very disappointing and brought up a sore spot for Husky fans. Now under the leadership of Jedd Fisch, the former Arizona Wildcats coach has the Huskies among the finalists for four-star safety Ladarian Clardy, who is deciding between Florida State, Ole Miss, and Washington, and received a (way-too-early) crystal ball prediction to choose coach Lane Kiffin on August 3 when he commits, while one of Washington's most popular dynasty players in EA Sports' College Football 25 is wide receiver Rashid Williams, who could have a breakout season under Fisch and wide receivers coach Kevin Cummings.
