An Oregon men's basketball alumni team has been selected as one of the top seeds for this year's upcoming The Basketball Tournament, and we've got one of the players who helped start this team on today's podcast.
Former Oregon Duck Dwayne Benjamin (2014-2016) helped the Ducks win four NCAA Tournament games in his two seasons at Oregon, while also helping Oregon gain its first-ever No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament and a trip to the Elite Eight in the 2016 NCAA Tournament. Benjamin joined the Autzen Audibles Podcast to discuss the team and playing in this year's TBT Field, how the team was created, and a look at his career in basketball after his time at Oregon ended.
The winner-take-all tournament will pay out the winning team $1 million for them to split. Oregon's first game of the tournament will be against No. 13 seed Peoria All-Stars on Sunday, July 25th at 12 p.m PT on ESPN3 from Peoria, Illinois and the Peoria Civic Center.
