One year ago, as the coffee-buying people of Denver were sheltering in place, Amethyst eliminated tipping, raised prices, and increased wages for employees. Outside the Amethyst on Broadway, Paul and Elle discuss why she and her colleagues made that decision and why she hopes it was a just one small step towards a new, more equitable economy.
