In the 1950's and 1960's, the town of McCaysville, Georgia had an influx of tourists. But instead of coming to town to see the Mayberry-like atmosphere, they were there to pick up something very important: children. Dr. Thomas Hicks provided at least 200 babies for adoption out of his clinic. While helping children in need to find homes is a noble task, there is nothing honorable about the way Dr. Hicks trafficked children from Akron down to Atlanta.
