Welcome to our second March edition, full of wondrous sounds were men and women harmonise the machines on a journey that’s electric. Talking of electric, as promised we have Andy Pickford’s second epic release Shadows Of The Gate, Dream is the more synthesised album from Ex Tangerine Dream member Steve Jolliffe, Erik Wøllo, with his diverse and sweeping 2CD release, Different Spaces, Synthesist/multi-instrumentalist Forrest Fang’s mesmerizing and emotive electronic-ambience on Follow The Ether Sun, ORGHANON’s manifesto to produce music with a strong cinematographic appeal, Berlin school fans will enjoy MTA Lab’s slowly evolving sequences and making his debut on here, Interstellarismusic, full of atmospherics interlacing moods, static-hypnotic sequences, various rhythms and varied melodies. Those of you who have a passion for the guitar to play its part in electronic music will love Mac Of Bionight and Phil Ensamble’s grooves, Dark ambient sounds taken care of by Ivan Black, Alexis Nembrode and No Mask Effect, with the only female on board Hanne Adam, whose productions are complex and fragile, unconventional soundscapes with fairy tale melodies and melancholic moods that are at times deep, but never too dark.
