Part 1

On a Saturday I visited my sister and brother-in-law to spend some time with them and my nieces. My oldest niece who was nine, now eleven was having a fundraiser for her school. She had asked me if I wanted to contribute and I hesitated because her presentation to me needed some work. I asked her how many people she signed up on the list and it was two. Now I know my niece is a superstar, so with permission from her parents she was allowed to go out in her neighborhood ask for more donations. Before me and her went outside, she had to work on her presentation. In one hour, we came back with 12 more names signed on her fundraiser sheet. The secret was to let her know she was a superstar and give her a little support. Her confidence was out the roof and she was determined to fill up the entire fundraiser sheet. I’m telling you this story because you are a superstar just like my niece and you have my support. I’m rooting for you to do amazing things today on this superstar Saturday.

Part 2

Bio: Heavin is eleven years old, a rising superstar, unique, very creative making a difference in her community and around the world. An entrepreneur and a CEO of "I Love Me" Apparel. She came up with the brand “I Love Me” because in this world a lot of girls don't like themselves because of body shaming, acne, media images and their skin color.

In first grade she experienced being bullied because of her height, being double jointed and skinny. Her classmates would make fun of her and it made her feel insecure about her body image.  After taking time to herself and with some encouraging words from her parents, she regained her confidence.  Now she embraces her height, skin complexion and body image being more confident than ever and hopes to pass this on to other girls in this world.

She want all girls to embrace their uniqueness.  Heavin is passionate about “I Love Me” apparel and inspired to making all girls feel good about themselves.
