The #Hotboxshow Episode 140 - A Tribute to Jules
During the early morning hours of Friday, 3 July 2020, an armed robbery took place at the property of Jules Stobbs and Myrtle Clarke, best known as The Dagga Couple. The attackers entered the couple’s bedroom and shot and fatally wounded Jules Stobbs. Myrtle was physically left unharmed and the attackers made off with two cellphones and two laptops.
The Cannabis community is mourning the passing of our hero. The family is requesting that the public respect their privacy and allow Myrtle and the family some space during this difficult time.

An invitation to pay your condolences to Jules Stobbs at The Jazzfarm, 34 Border Road, Lanseria, on Wednesday, 8 July 2020.
We will provide a safe space for the public to visit Jules’ beloved and sacred Jazzfarm, pay their respects and tributes, and give condolences to his family and friends. The gates will remain open from 9am to 5pm.
Cars are asked to park outside on the dirt road (Border Road), and people will be admitted in small batches in compliance with the Covid-19 Regulations. Hand sanitiser will be provided at the gate by security and we ask you to wear your mask or similar protective wear.
We will set up an area in the front garden close to the main gate for mourners to come and pay your respects, sing, chant, cry and place any tributes. Plant gifts are beautiful in lieu of flowers.
We'll have a camera set up so that you can leave video message if you would like to. This is not a memorial. This is us making space for a very large grieving community. A Memorial will be held at on a later date.
We have arranged that our D-Day security team will be there to ensure that nobody leaves the designated 'public space', and to ensure adherence to social distancing practices and the Regulations. Kindly note that you will not be able to engage with Myrtle at this very difficult time and we ask that you respect that.
Most importantly, this is a space to allow us to gather together and grieve this incredible giant of a man. Due to the current Regulations, we have no choice but to ensure that we restrict the number of people who we admit at a time, and also regret that this cannot be a social gathering where we linger for long periods. We can use this opportunity to grieve and say goodbye to our dear friend, Jules.
