1. The Cleveland Guardians didn’t play but that just gives us plenty of time to talk about prospects. We get into some of the top performances statistically in the Guardians system. We talk about how Will Brennan has a chance to be the greatest Kansas State Wildcat in MLB history, and the third Wildcat to play for the Guardians. We also talk about another award winner from this week, Jack Leftwich. This leads to how the Guardians Front Office is kind of savage when it comes to realizing when development is not good and targeting programs. We talk a little about Tennessee and Notre Dame. As well as some looking back at the Clevinger deal and what people used to think of it.
2. We get into the weeds with Andrew Misiaszek and Nic Enright in AAA along with Aaron Pinto, Tim Herrin, and Nick Miklajchak. The first two just got promoted and we talk about why they went up while Pontcelli and Lingos went down. We get into the top-performing pitchers in general and why Andrew Misiaszek and Tim Herrin might be players who end up in Cleveland before the year is done. 3. We end with our preview of the series against the Colorado Rockies, the rare series where the Guardians appear to have an advantage at catcher and in both corner outfield spots. The Rockies are not a strong team and with the way the pitching is set up the Guardians should win all three games but anything less than two wins is a massive disappointment.
