After meeting at an RBMA event a few years ago, Fabi Reyna and Sumo Hair became fast friends and collaborators, bonding over diaspora sounds and a commitment to social justice. Individually they have been at the center of numerous projects, Sumohair as part of the Metralleta de Oro DJ collective and his own solo work in Los Angeles, and Reyna as the founder of She Shreds Magazine and member of the band Savila, in Portland.
