This book is about the strategies Tom used to build a very successful consulting practice working with business owners. They cover some of the main points in the book such as; working only 80 days, the team approach, strategies to build your business, educate yourself. Tom discusses the backbone and inspiration for the book, he calls the “Dream”. The “Dream” is this discussion he and his father have (who actually died suddenly at age 51) at the end of each end of the chapter. The premise is that as Tom’s success grew, he coached his father as a businessman. In the dream, his dad lived to an old age and built a successful business using Tom’s strategies.
