On today's episode we sat down to Chat with Brian Saul. Brian is someone who sees the world through the design lens, and for him form and structure create freedom to create and within their limits, allow him to be creative, playful and expressive in his work. And this attention to the freedom offered by form spills over into his personal life as well.
Brian is someone who uses the structure and form of mediation and breath to be limitless in his living, to loosen attachments, to sit with the impermanence of all things and to return to himself with humility and joy.
Professionally Brian has worked with many of the most recognizable natural, organic, healthy, sustainable and ethical brands in the North American packaged goods category including Kettle Brand Chips, Seventh Generation, Earth’s Own, and many more. He has been instrumental in creating and growing many local natural products brands including Almond Fresh, Pete’s Tofu, and most recently Tree Island Gourmet Yogurt, Anita’s Organic Mill, Freeyumm Foods & Hippie Snacks.
Brian lives in the Dunbar in Vancouver with his wife and 3 children. He loves contemporary art, typography, baseball & the Grateful Dead. We were so grateful to catch up with him, talk about his journey in business and in life and to learn more than a few things along the way.
We know you are going to love this episode.... And stick around for a special meditation Brian leads us through at the end.
Peace and goodness to you,
