Paul understand that the only judge that mattered was the Lord. He lived his life in a way that would please Him and Him alone. The Corinthians, on the other hand, lived to be judged well by their peers and spent their time aligning themselves with the best preachers and orators. Paul's advice to them was simple: Follow me as I follow Christ.
