Marriage is a picture that God gives us to show what the Garden of Eden was supposed to be. People should see something different (than this world) in your marriage. It’s meant to reflect the Gospel and bring God glory.
Think of yourselves as Jesus does. Let’s measure ourselves against Jesus—not against our spouses and their shortcomings. Don’t let your differences become a point of friction, but use them as a point of growth in your marriage.
