Back to 2016 in this week, as we head into both the Eurovision archive and the Edinburgh Fringe archive to talk ‘Eurobeat Moldova’ with a dash of Steps.

In 2007, ‘Eurobeat: Almost Eurovision‘ has one of the surprise hits at the Edinburgh Festival (winning ‘Best Musical’), went on to have a successful West End run, and has been touring ever since. The creative team behind the original show returned with a sequel – ‘Eurobeat Moldova‘ – and were hoping to break the Eurovision fans’ rule of thumb that ‘you don’t go back again’.
