1. Cross your fingers but there seems to be some give by both sides when it comes to a new CBA. There is a lot of big talk, but both sides know the loss of games would be a big loss for baseball in general. I discuss how it is hard to be a fan right now, especially a small-market fan.
2. I provide my idea for a way to work on the revenue sharing issue that the players want to see change, keeping it in place but ensuring that it goes to pay players and allows for smaller market squads to keep the faces of their franchise without it crippling them in terms of payroll.
3. We talk about the Hall of Fame. How the voters got it wrong and how much the voting is just about who was nice, who was mean, and where did they play. It is a broken system that needs to be changed with a lot of voters needing to lose their votes.
