Social media marketing is the hot new thing. There are probably at least three people in your neighborhood that our now the proud founders of their very own social media marketing agency. But what does the future hold in store for social media marketers? 

Over time, Facebook Ads are just getting more and more expensive, and while everybody is jumping on this train for social media advertising, you're probably just getting even further lost in the noise. 

Here's the simple way to put it. Now that everybody is advertising on social media, the social media platforms have the power to start charging higher and higher prices in order to thin out the competition. They are in a spot where they can start charging top dollar for the biggest companies to have their spots on the platform, and then everybody wins. 

Well... except for the smaller companies that can't keep up with the price.
