Mike Hollis is a former 9 Season NFL Pro Bowl Kicker with a career that spanned 1994 to 2003 landing him stints with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Chargers, Buffalo Bills and NY Giants.
At 5ft 8inch Mike Hollis wasn't the biggest or most athletic guy on the field, but he always knew he could out-technique and out-work any one under the right circumstance. Going against the grain of widely accepted kicking coaching philosophy Hollis has earned the respect of his clients as his mentoring has helped develop numerous NFL, CFL, XFL and Arena League specialists with his company, Pro Form Kicking based in Jacksonville Florida. A few notes in the show:
Discover why the worst thing you can do to a young athlete is tell them how good they are.
Understand the difference between results-based kicker versus as process-based kicker.
Find out why you should STOP kicking with your leg.
Dive deep into Hollis's worst and best moment as an NFL Kicker and how it set him up for later success.
Uncover Hollis's wildly unorthodox, but very effective technique and mental philosophies of kicking.
And, last, why you should IMMEDIATELY stop kicking from the ground.
Enjoy and glad to have you!
