“The fortune is in the follow up,” a business term that’s so true. As an independent contractor, a market associate, and sales consultant for varies companies I would have to prospect for new clientele every day. Building rapport with individuals, collecting their names, contact information, and emails. That was the easy part. Next, I would call them twice, if no answer leave a voice message, text them, along with an email and do this several times throughout the week until I received a response. I’m sure I may have bothered a few customers but I was relentless about the follow-up. In result of this method, I usually was the top income producer. Most people don’t want to do what it takes to be on top. “The fortune is in the follow up!”
What projects have you started, what phone calls need to be made, text messages, or emails need to be sent for business or for your personal life? It’s nothing wrong with checking up on someone or something. If you dropped the ball just follow up.
