Christians, we are to live and walk in humility. But, we are people of courage, boldness, and fearlessness.
There are many stories in the Bible where characters point us to Christ. David is usually one of them. But, not in this story. Abigail is the one pointing us to Christ. She humbles herself and was ready to take responsibility for the sins and actions of her husband—even though she had done nothing wrong. Abigail’s faith drove her to take action.
In the same way, let’s be people of action—humble and ready to act.
