In this episode, I had a conversation with Crossfit Coach, Steph Clish, in which we talked about the benefits of ensuring that we remain physically strong and healthy and how important it is that we choose courage over fear.


Steph is a product , people and fitness enthusiast.  She is Head of Operations at software company, Wordnerds and is also a part-time Crossfit coach.


The Very Important Points from this episode:

  1. Understand that you can do what others can, maybe not in the same way, but you can.
  2. Everyone has different aspects of their physical fitness that they need help with, you might feel like you’re the only one, but you're not.
  3. Your strength will come from building community.
  4. Your mindset will shift with physical activity.
  5. You can move past the barriers that you face.
  6. Make the initial jump and do it again and again until it’s second nature
  7. The fears that we have are much worse in our head.
  8. Courage is not the absence of fear, courage is about feeling the fear and doing it anyway.
  9. You can do more than you thought you could do .
  10. You are not measuring yourself against anyone else - this about you and your personal growth.
