How do we stay faithful to the Lord and keep from drifting away?
In today’s culture, there’s a massive push away from the Gospel. Progressive Christianity rejects the doctrines that the early Christians died to preserve. Hebrews 1 reminds us of the Savior we serve and the authority he holds over this world.
Jesus is the Creator, High Priest, and final Prophet. He is the exact representation of God’s glory. He isn’t just a reflection of the Lord, but the very image of God.
Hebrews 2 warns believers against forgetting who Jesus is. We must pay close attention to the Gospel. The Word of God will shape who we are and how we see God. There are no passive pictures of pursuing personal holiness in the Bible.
Never start the drift, remember why you’re laboring.
