On good Friday mankind tortured and murdered God incarnate in the flesh. How could anyone call this day good? On the most evil day in history, God poured out His wrath against all sin on the head of His Son Jesus. His death alone provides the only sacrifice for sins acceptable to a righteous and holy God. The death of Jesus is the only hope for sinners. That is why we call it good.
