Senator Larissa Waters is pretty badass...and not just because she's dedicated her life to protecting our most precious resource - the environment. Not many women leave a successful career in law to enter the unforgiving world of politics - especially not with a young child. Larissa made headlines around the world for doing something that new mums find themselves doing multiple times a day. Breastfeeding. The only difference? I do it on the couch...she did it in parliament...while putting forward a motion. Like I said. Badass.
In this episode Larissa talks with candour and humility about raising her own girls in a landscape that's traditionally not been very forgiving for mothers (or women, really). May we all be inspired by Larissa's determination to follow her passion and make motherhood work alongside it. Enjoy!
