On Friday July 26th, Los Angeles Football Club (15-4-3)bounced back from the previous week's 3-2 road defeat against the crosstown Galaxy with a 4-3 home win against Atlanta United. The black and gold scored four goals in a 12-minute sequence in the first half en route to claiming all three points from the defending champions ahead of the 2019 MLS All Star Game.
Carlos Vela, Walker Zimmerman, Mark Anthony Kaye and Diego Rossi were away for the All Star Game, won on Wednesday July 31st by Atletico Madrid 3-0, but all four players will rejoin the team in New England in time for Saturday's match in Foxboro. Once a team to look over in the eastern conference, Bruce Arena's Revolution haven't lost a match (7-3-0) since the former Galaxy boss took the reigns on May 14th.
