Festival director Kim Petalas talks about how the festival has grown significantly over the last ten years to become a highly anticipated collection of new British cinema. Kim browses the program that includes exclusive premieres in addition to a selection of dramas, documentaries and comedies. Also, James Bond is back on the big screen in a curated line up showcasing sixty years of iconic style and adventure. First hitting the silver screen in 1962, the world’s famous Secret Service agent will be celebrated with a remarkable collection of 14 films that feature Connery, Lazenby, Moore, Dalton, Brosnan and Craig in stunning 4K restorations to honour 60 years of adventure.
The British Film Festival opens on the 18th of October, and it is showcased at Palace Cinemas in seven cities across Australia until the 16th of November.
